Bath & Body Works’ newest collaboration brings to life a dazzling collection of products inspired by Disney Princess characters. The collection features six brand new fragrances inspired by some of the most beloved characters in the franchise: Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Moana and Tiana. Each fragrance was carefully crafted with a Princess character in mind and designed to capture their unique spirit, strength and resilience while transporting you into their worlds.
In honor of this special moment, we are giving a behind the scenes look into the development of these unique fragrances, starting with Cinderella.

These traits and attitudes have contributed to her long-lasting connection with fans as the 75th anniversary of the film is celebrated this year.
In the new Disney Princess collection, Bath & Body Works unlocks Cinderella’s true essence through the power of fragrance. Her signature scent features notes of gardenia petals, enchanting musk and sapphire blue amber.
“We wanted to identify with Cinderella's unique character traits— her innocence, optimistic spirit and majestic beauty.” Mary Testa-Gough, associate vice president of product and fragrance development at Bath & Body Works says. “The gardenia flower dictated the overall essence of this fragrance, its natural and delicate scent embodies Cinderella’s timeless elegance.”
Cinderella’s fragrance is available within an array of products including fine fragrance mist, body wash and lotion, candles and more. Bath & Body Works designers crafted creative packaging specifically tied to each Princess, showcasing their unique traits and iconic moments from their stories. Shelby Donese, a designer at Bath & Body Works gave some insight behind the specific design elements of the Cinderella-inspired products.
“We wanted to tell the story of Cinderella through a fashion lens, knowing how important her gown was to the story.” Donese says. “Throughout the collection, you can see the soft blue satin texture which nods to Cinderella’s gown, while the delicate lace details include important icons from her story —the carriage, clock and glass slipper.”
The collection includes customized accessories like a Cinderella Glass Slipper Wallflower Heater and a Cinderella Glass Slipper Coin Purse, along with a collectible gold tote which features all six Disney Princesses.
Through this special collaboration, Disney and Bath & Body Works fans alike can explore each character’s story and embrace what most resonates with them.
“The hope is for customers to feel the pull of their heart strings when they see their favorite Princess featured in our stores.” Donese says. “These products bring back the sense of nostalgia of the movies we grew up on and our love for the characters.”
